Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures, ensuring clear explanations are provided.
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to produce quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment diligently, reporting any malfunctions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and manage patient records through our electronic medical system.
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field.
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is highly preferred.

Required Certifications

• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
