Job Title: Hyundai Certified Technician Company: Chapman Bell Rd. Hyundai Location: 999 W Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85023 Schedule: Monday-Friday, shifts vary 7am-6pm Pay: up to $42/flag hour, based on certifications and experience About the Role Chapman Automotive Group is a family-owned dealership organization that has delivered exceptional service and a customer-first experience since 1966. Hyundai location in Phoenix is currently seeking a qualified Hyundai Certified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic Service Department. In this role, you will work collaboratively with fellow technicians, service advisors, and the parts department to provide top-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services that keep our customers vehicles running like new. Responsibilities
- Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate additional repair or maintenance recommendations to the Service Advisor
- Perform repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Thoroughly document inspection findings and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience required
- Hyundai experience and certifications required
- Engine certification preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
