Posting Summary The School of Health Professions (SHP), Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is inviting applications for a full‑time faculty position for the Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) Program. This faculty position is an open‑rank position. SHP is one of eight schools that are part of Rutgers Health (RH), the premier health sciences institution in New Jersey. The SHP Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences houses the Rutgers Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Program and dedicated research faculty. Rutgers is an internationally ranked and recognized University that is a member of the American Association of Universities and the Big Ten conference. The faculty appointment seeks to build on a strong history by increasing capacity for excellence in clinical practice, teaching, and research. As a Center for Rehabilitation Excellence, the Department focuses on evolving clinical spaces and labs, leading in education in physical and occupational therapy and speech‑language pathology, and conducting research to optimize patient care and outcomes. Faculty are national and global leaders in their fields, offering opportunities for interprofessional education and collaborative research among the three programs housed within the Department. Responsibilities include innovative and responsible leadership for all aspects of the design and delivery of coursework in this 8‑semester, entry‑level OT doctorate program. The appointment is a 12‑month full‑time position. Candidates will be considered from all occupational therapy expertise areas, with priority given to those who have experience and interest in teaching foundational occupational therapy topics, professional practice, mental health, and adult rehabilitation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
