Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Looking for an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The position requires expertise in various labor and delivery procedures. Candidates must be able to perform sterile vaginal exams without supervision. Knowledge of triage is essential for this role. An understanding of AWHONN guidelines is a requirement for this position. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling commitments including weekends and holidays. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:2. The average daily census includes 6-8 deliveries. Candidates may need to float to similar units as required. References covering recent work experience will be necessary. All requested time off must be provided upfront during the application process. Travelers may expect to assist within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. This role involves caring for various patient demographics including neonates and adults. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage high-risk deliveries. Successful candidates will contribute to a supportive environment focused on patient care.
