Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

TLC

Labor & Delivery RN

Open to working weekends (typically every other) and must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.

Orientation: 36 hours. Patient ratio: 1:2. Average census: 68 deliveries per day.

Compact license must be in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted. AWHONN Advanced certification required (hard stop). ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NRP certifications required. 2 years of experience preferred; will consider candidates with 1.5 years experience as a hard stop. Must be able to perform sterile vaginal exams independently at an expert level. EPIC experience required.

Provide care for patients during labor and delivery. Perform triage of obstetric patients. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal wellbeing. Manage labor induction and augmentation. Assess and assist with newborn care and resuscitation. Administer blood products as needed.

All requested time off must be submitted up-front; limited allowance for time off after submission.
