We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional skill set in obstetrics and be capable of performing sterile vaginal exams independently, with sound judgment in triage scenarios.

Night shift - 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional skill set in obstetrics and be capable of performing sterile vaginal exams independently, with sound judgment in triage scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients independently.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide appropriate care for neonates.
• Utilize advanced monitoring techniques, including external and internal fetal monitoring.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids as necessary.
• Support lactation and breastfeeding initiatives for new mothers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
• Must possess an active RN license (Compact license accepted).
• Must be open to working weekends and major holidays.
