Senior Structural Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for Building Design with a positive, hands‑on, collaborative work style to join our Durham, NC office to elevate our engineering capabilities and further grow dynamic Engineering Studios in every office of Little. Experience should include most of the following project types: civic/government, financial services, retail, high tech/R&D, healthcare, office, interior renovation, higher education, and/or education projects. A position you’ll love Serve as the structural lead on projects, managing scope, schedule, and deliverables. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients. Conduct design reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters. Participate in project planning, budgeting, and risk assessments. Using your passion for innovative design, problem‑solving, and critical thinking. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s a plus). 8+ years of professional experience. Professional Licensure. Strong proficiency with Revit. Maintain technical competence by staying current on appropriate codes and technologies. Thorough understanding of advanced engineering principles and calculations. Strong knowledge of construction documentation, specifications, and construction administration. Familiarity with Design Software (RAM, RISA 3D, ADAPT‑Builder, Enercalc). Passion for sustainability (LEED Accredited a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
