Project Architect

GAA Architects, Inc. is a medium-sized, award-winning firm based in Irvine, California. Our work spans across the U.S. and internationally, with a diverse portfolio that includes industrial, workspace, film and television studios, amusement parks, restaurants, retail, medical office, interiors, automotive. We are seeking a U.S.-licensed Architect who is passionate about design, technically strong, and ready to play a key role in a collaborative and growing practice. Position Overview This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to deepen their impact within a dynamic firm. With our broad project types and hands‑on environment, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully, take on increasing responsibility, and grow into a leadership role over time. Qualifications Active architectural license in the United States (required) Minimum 5 years of professional experience on U.S.-based commercial or institutional projects Strong working knowledge of U.S. building codes, construction types, and permitting processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel Role & Growth Opportunities Contribute across multiple project phases, from design through construction Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and clients Opportunity to grow into a Project Manager role based on experience and performance (prior PM experience not required) Why GAA Architects?
