Director, Financial Controls

JCW is currently working on behalf of a highly reputable global bank that’s seeking a Director of Financial Controls to join their growing team. Reporting directly to the MD, US Controller, this role will have significant visibility with responsibility for oversight and strategy of the US subsidiary controllership function. This position will sit on-site in a hybrid capacity four days a week. Role responsibilities Lead and oversee month-end close and financial reporting processes for the US subsidiaries in accordance with GAAP and IFRS Lead and oversee both domestic and off‑shore resources Work directly with executive management on overall team strategy and executive/board reporting Own and manage the internal audit/external audit relationship and serve as primary point of contact with regulators Requirements Ideally 10‑15 years’ accounting/controllership experience in a large banking institution ($100b AUM+) Consumer or commercial banking experience highly preferred Previous experience preparing board and executive financial reporting Previous experience managing off‑shore resources CPA preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr JCW Group
