Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: Contract Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of nursing experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE - Management of dysrhythmias, peripheral line care/management, IV management - Experience with starting and maintaining IVs, substance withdrawal, use of rapid response/code teams Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a specialty in MS/Tele. The nurse will be expected to work night shifts. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with various general medicine issues. Nurses must be comfortable floating to different units as needed. Weekly work hours will be approximately 36 hours per week, including some weekends. Candidates should possess skills in handling various medical procedures including Foley catheter insertion, PICC line management, IV administration, and more. Nurses will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes various support services. Experience in a mixed medical-surgical PCU environment is beneficial, but not required. A commitment to patient care and safety is essential. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative throughout the credentialing process. Two professional references are required, including one from a managerial or supervisory position. All applicants must have completed nursing education from an accredited program.
