The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume emergency department. This department has a commitment to providing high-quality and safe healthcare. You will work in a setting recognized for excellence in patient care. The emergency department typically has a patient ratio of 4:1 and can increase to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Technicians are available to assist with cardiac monitoring and internal processing. All nurses will participate in triage and unit clerical duties. You will utilize advanced equipment and documentation systems. It is essential to have excellent patient interaction skills. We expect respectful behavior and adherence to patient experience protocols. Candidates should be ready to float within different sections of the emergency department. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS. ENPC certification is required within 90 days of hire. Successful candidates will have strong teamwork skills and the ability to adapt. This department is known for its welcoming personalities and collaborative environment.
