Materials AssociateDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Materials Associates for an electronics manufacturing company in Mankato, MN. In this role, you'll support production by ensuring the correct electronic components are available for assembly and maintaining accurate inventory records. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Materials Associate:Pull electronic components to accurately complete production kitsDisassemble and return kits received from the production floorAssist with stock and inventory inquiriesPerform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracyLearn and utilize unique part numbering systems and component familiesMaintain organization and accuracy while handling electronic componentsComplete additional duties as assigned by supervisors and managersWhat You Need to Bring to the Materials Associate Role:High school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGeneral knowledge of electronic components preferredStrong computer and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to cross-train in different departments and positionsAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shiftAbility to lift up to 30 poundsAbility to learn company-specific inventory and part-numbering systemsIPC-A-610 training preferred but not requiredAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkAbility to meet all physical requirements of the positionWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions:Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
