This role is built around accuracy and follow-through — maintaining clean, correct data across the ecommerce platform and purchase orders, and carefully reconciling invoices against POs and shipments to catch discrepancies before they become problems. It's a highly detail-oriented, cross-functional role well-suited to someone who takes pride in getting the numbers and the details right.This is a great entry point into retail operations, buying, and ecommerce for someone looking to build a foundation across multiple sides of the business.What You'll DoE-Commerce SupportUpload and organize product images on the ecommerce platformSupport product activations, ensuring items go live accurately and on scheduleAssist with SEO updates for product listingsPerform detailed, accurate data entry to keep product and inventory information current across systemsRegularly audit product and inventory data for errors or inconsistenciesBuying SupportCreate and manage purchase ordersTrack outstanding and open purchase orders, and process PO updates as neededReview and process vendor invoicesReconcile invoices line-by-line against purchase orders and shipments, flagging discrepancies before they progressInvestigate and resolve discrepancies with vendorsCommunicate payment status to vendors, with support from the finance teamMaintain organized, audit-ready records of POs and invoicesSample ManagementCoordinate with warehouse staff to receive samples for photoshoots as neededGeneralSupport other retail projects and initiatives as needed or assignedWhat We're Looking ForPrior experience in retail, ecommerce, or administrative/coordination work is a plus, but not requiredExceptional attention to detail — comfortable catching small errors in large sets of data or numbersStrong data entry skills and accuracy, with experience in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)Methodical and patient approach to reconciliation and problem-solvingBasic familiarity with e-commerce or purchase order systems, or willingness to learn quicklyStrong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlinesClear, professional communication skills for working with vendors and internal teamsInterest in music, retail operations, or the Rock Hall's mission is a plusSuccess MetricsAccuracy of data entry across product, inventory, and PO/invoice recordsPurchase orders and invoices processed accurately and on scheduleDiscrepancies caught and resolved promptly, before they escalateAccuracy and timeliness of product uploads and activationsPositive feedback from cross-functional partners (buying, ecommerce, finance, warehouse)RequirementsAbility to read and demonstrate basic oral, written, mathematical and manual skills. Ability to shake, sort, fold or stack items; to place and retrieve items.Work ScheduleAbility to work at least 40 hours per week; primarily Monday – Friday, approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
