As a Cocktail Server in the Lobby Lounge at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you'll be responsible for serving drinks in a precise, timely, and professional manner while ensuring high standards of customer service in the Beverage outlet. Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. What will you be doing:

• Maintain service station and floor cleanliness before, during, and after shift.
• Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain all specials, promotions, and food options.
• Take orders and recite selection of all call and premium brands as requested. This will require memorization of all available drinks, beer, and wines.
• Provide appropriate snack and garnish with all beverages.
• Input orders in a timely manner into point of sale system to inform bartender of order.
• Keep guest tables and floors clean, and assist with bar area organization.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction regularly.
• Present check promptly, handle payments, and balance charges.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

What we are looking for:

• Previous cocktail serving experience required; must be 18+ to serve alcohol.
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage preparation, and various alcoholic drinks.
• Expertise in spirits, beer, trendy liquors, and wines for high-volume bar service.
• Obtain necessary certifications; bartender certifications preferred; comply with liquor regulations.
• Maintain awareness of guest needs and corporate service standards.
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension, promotions, and guest communication.
• Ability to lift and carry trays up to 40 lbs. in crowded environments.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
