Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee - Litholink

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee in Itasca, Illinois to perform laboratory testing procedures, operate instrumentation, and ensure specimen quality. Full training provided for new graduates with a science degree. Responsibilities
Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established laboratory criteria
Execute routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
Perform quality control, preventative maintenance and document results
Prepare and test new reagents or controls
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
Capacity to work varied shifts including evenings and Saturdays
ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
3+ months clinical laboratory testing experience (preferred)
Compensation: $23.80 per hour plus shift differential
