Project Manager - Construction

The Project Manager must be able to work independently while remaining an integral part of a collaborative team, ensuring project success through clear documentation, risk management, and disciplined follow-through. Key Responsibilities Coordinate submittals (product data, shop drawings, engineering) with sales, vendors, and customers. Conduct site visits for field measurements and on-site coordination. Oversee submittal approvals before material release and manage material purchasing and deliveries. Schedule and coordinate internal teams and external labor partners for turnkey projects. Track project timelines, material lead times, and manpower availability to optimize scheduling. Manage change orders between field teams, customers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure timely resolution of punchlist items and completion of project closeout documentation. Quality Control on installations and deliverables to customers. Support invoicing efforts to ensure prompt billing upon project milestones or completion. Coordinate change orders with customers and internal stakeholders. Assist sales staff with estimating and project scoping during the pre-sale phase. Ensure projects are invoiced at the appropriate time. Ensure compliance with company safety protocols across all active job sites. Local travel to job sites: 20-30% Other duties as assigned What you need: Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred; 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally with a General Contractor. Software Proficiency: Skilled in BlueBeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, PlanGrid, Primavera P6). Technical Competence: Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; solid understanding of construction project workflows. Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is required Highly motivated, determined, target driven Key Strengths: Knowledge Retention: Quickly absorbs and retains critical project information for effective decision-making.
