Student Union MonitorPart-TimeStudent Employment Opportunity: Student Union MonitorThis position is for current Palmer College of Chiropractic students only.Function:The Student Union Monitor is responsible for monitoring all video gaming, arcades, and other gaming machines, and spaces in the Student Union.Organizational Relationship:Responsible to the Student Activities Coordinator in the Student Services Department for successful performance of assigned duties.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor checking in and out of all video console station equipment (controllers), and other equipmentOperate and assist guests with any amenities of the Student UnionMonitor checkout of Golf Simulator and unlock the door for the occupantBe able to check the calendar and book Golf Simulator reservationsSubmit HelpDesk tickets to IT if any technology or TVs are downMaking and distributing popcorn and cleaning the machine on the appropriate scheduled day/timeResponsible for sanitizing all equipment pieces on a regular basis (this included all arcade games, controllers, consoles, shuffleboard, and pool table equipment)Equipment will not be issued until an ID is given at the deskEnforcement of all Student Union rules, policies and proceduresInteract with members in a respectful and professional fashionAssisting Student Services with events that take place in Student UnionMonitors are responsible for working all scheduled shifts and if unable to, arrangements and communication must be provided at least 24-48 hours priorIndividuals must follow the appropriate procedure for when they request to miss a scheduled shiftClock in and out using SubItUp, and log all hours worked in PaycomOther duties as assignedDisclaimer: Student's length of participation in the Student Employment Program will be from the date of hire until termination either by student, supervisor, or Office of Financial Planning and not to exceed the student's enrollment at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
