We are seeking a dynamic Environmental Building Sciences Field Technician to join our Quincy, MA office . Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Building Sciences Field Technician: Conduct hazardousmaterialssurveys, including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold,other hazardous materials, and indoor air quality. Provide oversight of contaminated site remediation and hazardous building materials abatement. Prepare field notes,photographs, and perform analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data. Prepare technical reportsfor hazardous materialsforsite assessments. Support emergency response services, communicate and collaborate with others, manage workloads and records, implement health & safety policies, and travel. What We’re Looking For BA/BS in Environmental Science, or related field, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. 2+ years of experience in the Industrial Hygiene / Hazardous Building Materials industry. Asbestos, Lead, and/or 40‑hr HAZWOPER certification required Proficient in MS Office and other commonly used computer programs preferred. Familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills. Excellent attention to detail with a strong safety mindset and record of safe work practices. Willingness to conduct asbestos, lead, and mold surveys, remediation monitoring, exposure monitoring, and specialized industrial hygiene projects. Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, various weather conditions, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness to travel up to 90% regionally and work nights or weekends as needed. Valid driver’s license, good driving history, and reliable transportation required.
