Technical Manager

$17 - $21 per hour

Compensation Hourly: $17.00 – $21.00 Commission (Exempt): $0.50 – $10.00 per Membership sold, $0.15 – $3.00 per Fun Pass sold. Commission (Non-Exempt): $2.00 – $8.00 per Membership sold, $0.60 – $2.40 per Fun Pass sold. Paid bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise). What You’ll Do Oversee, maintain, and repair the latest video and skill games, kitchen equipment, register systems, coin and ticket mechanisms, and arcade games. Manage electrical and mechanical aspects of the game room, performing daily preventative maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot, repair, or replace defective electronic components, boards, and computers. Operate stage show equipment and manage repairs and preventative maintenance, including compressor operation, lighting, sound, pneumatics, hydraulic valves, cylinders, boards, and stage show cosmetics. Maintain inventory of electronic equipment, mechanical parts, and tools. Maintain and monitor the budget for the game room. Maintain a safety‑focused attitude at all times. Skills We’re Looking For Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component board level. Planning, organization, and multi‑tasking skills. Attention to detail. Time management and sense of urgency. Military experience, a technical degree, or prior electrical or mechanical training (preferred). Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Ability to work up to 45 hours per week. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience. Essential Job Functions and Work Environment Lift or carry objects weighing 0–50 pounds during scheduled shift. Stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during scheduled shift. Handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members. Work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise.
