This role oversees all requirements related to projects. The MEP IE will work with the GC and Gradian personnel to ensure all requirements are identified and completed to the specifications, on time, and to budget.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding MEP IE LeadOverall Building specPermitting and code requirementsAccessibility of the facility (roads/parking/safe access)Facilities security based on needs during and post constructionInternal and external structures and related design and permittingOffice and enclosuresEnergy – gas, electrical, renewable energyHigh and Low Voltage - Power needed vs. available, WIFIOffice/Human Services PlanningPlanning facilities requirements related to occupancy and headcountDesign safe environments for employees and travel within and outside of the facilityRequired break areas and support of office and direct labor personnelFurniture planning and layout. Work with suppliers and establish/manage related budgets.Mfg Line MEP IE LeadRepresent facilities for line design to ensure all MEP requirements are clear and availableResponsible for all bay preparation for manufacturing line rampWorks with line leadership define needsDevelop related MEP plans with timelines that support start upProcess FMEA support for new linesWithin the assignmentsLead all phases of each project assignedEnsure all requirements are understood and field and questions in a timely manner to ensure the project stays on track.Develop and maintain assigned project lists, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, cost, and quality issues.Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.Review change orders and propose approval to facilities VP for invoices and CO’s based on compliance to budget and building specs.Conduct project meetings as needed and provide status updates to the Project Manager.Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
