RETAIL SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Cricket’s Pool & Spa World is looking for a Retail Sales & Customer Service Associate to join our growing team!

We are a locally owned swimming pool and spa business with a retail store, water testing department, service/repair department, and weekly pool maintenance division. We are growing — and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Help customers find pool, spa, and outdoor living products
• Learn to test swimming pool and spa water
• Explain water test results and recommend appropriate products
• Process sales, payments, and customer orders
• Stock shelves and maintain an organized, clean store
• Answer phones and assist with customer questions
• Help with inventory and receiving merchandise
• Learn about pool equipment, chemicals, cleaners, pumps, filters, and accessories
• Build relationships with our regular customers
• Assist our service department and technicians when needed
• Learn more about the pool industry and advance your knowledge over time

You can also learn about other areas of our business, including pool water chemistry, equipment, sales, inventory, maintenance, and service.

⭐ REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be dependable and punctual
• Have a positive, professional attitude
• Provide excellent customer service
• Be willing to learn
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Be able to regularly lift and carry up to 100 pounds
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
• Be willing to learn about pool chemicals, equipment, and products
• Be interested in growing with the company and taking on additional responsibility

Pool industry experience is a plus, but NOT required. We can teach the right person the pool business.
