School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Fairfax, Virginia

Highlights:

• Work location is focused in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas
• Position begins August 17, 2026, and runs through June 12, 2027
• Consistent schedule: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
• Onsite work only

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia SLP license required
• Experience in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship candidates are welcome
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered practice

Your Role:

• Deliver speech-language screenings, evaluations, and therapy to K-12 students
• Manage and document caseload per state and federal guidelines
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide consultation to classroom teachers and families
• Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
• Participate actively in school- and district-level meetings
• Advocate for students' communication needs within the school environment
