Our compounding pharmacy technicians prepare sterile compounded medications in a cleanroom environment for home infusion and specialty pharmacy patients — precision work that goes directly to patients managing serious, long-term health needs, not just a prescription filled at a counter.We're hiring an experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technician for our infusion pharmacy — someone with sound aseptic technique, sharp attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and a commitment to patient safety in a highly regulated cleanroom setting.What We OfferCompetitive pay: $25–$30/hr based on experience and license levelMedical, dental, vision, and life insurancePet insurance401(k)Generous PTO + paid holidaysScheduleFull-TimeMonday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PMOccasional overtime as neededParticipates in Sunday on-call rotation with a required response time of within 30 minutesKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision, in accordance with USP 797, and USP 800 standardsPerform aseptic technique for IV admixtures, TPN solutions, intrathecal preparations, and other sterile compounded productsHandle, prepare, and dispose of hazardous drugs, including chemotherapy agents, using appropriate closed-system drug transfer devices (CSTDs) and PPEPerform and document required quality control checks, including visual inspection, weight verification, and apply correct beyond-use dates (BUDs)Maintain ISO-classified cleanroom environments through proper gowning, garbing, cleaning, and disinfection proceduresPrepare and affix prescription labels, and maintain accurate compounding records, batch logs, and patient profilesSupport inventory management for bulk drug substances, compounding supplies, and controlled substances under pharmacist supervisionCoordinate with nursing, intake, and delivery teams to support on-time medication delivery and patient careRequirementsQualificationsRequiredActive Arizona Pharmacy Technician LicensePrevious pharmacy technician experienceExperience with sterile and 797/800-compliant cleanroomStrong attention to detail, sound aseptic technique, and excellent organizational skillsComfortable working in a cleanroom environment, including gowning/garbing and strict PPE protocolsAbility to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/move between workstations throughout the shiftAuthorized to work lawfully in the United StatesPreferred (We Will Train!)Experience handling hazardous drugs, chemotherapy agents, or CSTDsExperience with CareTend or similar pharmacy management softwareExperience in home infusion or specialty pharmacyEqual Opportunity EmploymentPatient Care Infusion is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
