Head of Talent Acquisition (Internal Recruitment)

Location: Tampa, Florida | Office-Based 4 days a week

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 Base + commission per hire

We're looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition to take complete ownership of our internal recruitment function, helping us attract, hire and retain the best recruitment and sales talent in the market.

This isn't a role where you'll sit back and wait for applications. We want someone proactive, commercially minded and relentless when it comes to finding great people.

The Opportunity

You'll work directly with the founders and leadership team, playing a critical role in scaling Strive and our technical recruitment business, Runtime Recruiting.

With approximately 20-30 hires planned initially and significant growth ambitions beyond that, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the future of the business.

You'll own the entire recruitment process, from identifying and approaching talent through to managing interviews, offers and onboarding.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Own the end-to-end internal recruitment process across Strive and Runtime.
• Proactively headhunt high-performing recruiters, salespeople and future leaders.
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline of talent across Tampa and our wider markets.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies through LinkedIn, referrals, networking and direct outreach.
• Partner closely with the founders to understand hiring priorities and growth plans.
• Manage interviews, candidate assessments, offers and negotiations.
• Build a strong employer brand that attracts ambitious, high-performing individuals.
• Create a scalable recruitment process with clear reporting, hiring metrics and accountability.
• Support new hires through the onboarding process to set them up for success.

Who We're Looking For

We're not necessarily looking for someone with a corporate HR background.

We want a recruiter who knows how to recruit.

Someone who understands how to identify great talent, get people excited about an opportunity and close candidates.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in agency recruitment, internal talent acquisition or headhunting.
• A strong track record of proactively sourcing and placing candidates.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Confidence working directly with senior leadership.
• A commercial mindset and a results-driven approach.
• The ability to build processes while remaining hands-on with recruitment.
• A genuine passion for people, recruitment and business growth.

Experience recruiting salespeople or recruitment consultants would be particularly valuable.
