- 5 Years Ride share experience or commercial driving experience
- This job position requirement needed possess a typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in fleet operations and/or precision driving.
In this role you will Monitor vehicle software systems while upholding safe operational protocols and full legal compliance.
● Execute specific test cases (e.g. navigating construction zones, roundabouts, heavy pedestrian traffic, etc.) and document system performance accordingly.
● Provide concise, high-quality verbal and written feedback on non-ideal vehicle behaviors and edge-case scenarios.
● Perform pre-and-post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring sensors (LiDAR, Cameras, Radar) are clean and report major, operational concerns accordingly.
● Work directly with Software and Hardware Engineers to troubleshoot issues identified during your shift(s).
Day to Day Operations as a Commercial Driver :
- Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.
- Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.
- Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.
- Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.
- Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.
- 5 Years experienced Driving Uber services, Lyft, Taxi Company driver and or commercial
- Comfortable driving for extended periods (4–8 hours per day)
- No moving violations within the past 12 months, NO DUIs, or criminal record
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and strict safety guidelines
- Ability to work onsite in both Mountain View and San Francisco.
