SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Rooming patients and updating patient information into EMR system Accurately obtaining chief complaint Transcribing for providers during exams Assisting with biopsies and select surgical procedures Administering local anesthesia Educating patients on treatment plans Managing patient prescriptions/pathology/labs Assisting with cosmetic procedures Stocking rooms with necessary supplies Sanitizing all work areas throughout the day and after each patient Following through with individual side tasks APPLICANT CHARACTERISTICS WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Dependable and punctual Prefers a fast pace work environment Excels in team atmosphere Well-organized with attention to detail Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Empathetic with patient needs and concerns EXPERIENCE: College-level human A&P: 1 year (Plus) Medical Assisting: 1 year (Plus) LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Certified Medical Assistant Certification (Plus) #J-18808-Ljbffr Bryn Mawr Dermatology
