This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland. : Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Lead Internal Audit Specialist within the Internal Audit Group located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position develops, implements and maintains internal controls to assure that the Service operates efficiently, legally and ethically. Particular focus is risk management, governance and controls. Estimated Pay Range: $67,350.73 - $92,607.25 Benefits:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Accounting or related field plus 4 or more years' experience within professional services or internal audit in a Federal, State, or Corporate environment which included independent, critical and analytical process examination. Candidate should have knowledge of continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma. Also responsible for managing staff and small budget. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
