Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Possess a high degree of personal initiative and accountability.
- Excellent analytical skills, and strong communication skills - both verbal and written
- Be proficient with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Have good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of accounting, budgeting principles and procedures, and capital outlay budget process is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with the statewide Accounting/Budgeting system FI$Cal is also desirable.
