Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Operating Room Technician (CST) with transplant experience to join our Surgical Services team. Candidates must have the ability to independently scrub liver transplant recipients and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant surgical procedures. The role involves working 3 night shifts per week, each lasting 12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. The schedule includes 40-60 hours of call within a 6-week cycle, with mandatory holiday work.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in large open belly cases, including liver transplants, Whipple procedures, liver resections, plastics, gynecological surgeries, urology, thoracic, general surgeries, and free flap procedures.
• Scrub independently on liver transplant procedures, utilizing aseptic technique and proficiency with specialized equipment such as the DaVinci XI robotic system.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile and aseptic procedures during all surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient surgical workflows.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA certification required).
• BCLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transplant surgery, specifically liver transplantation.
• Expertise in large open abdominal surgeries and specialized procedures listed above.
• Ability to scrub independently on liver transplant cases.

Shift Details:

• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Schedule: Night shifts, 3 days per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.
