The Job Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals & objectives through selling DEWALT, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to our end‑user customer base. Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end‑user partners through product and services solutions and management of CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs. Teach and mentor the local market team on end‑user development processes, including targeting trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, quality managers, general managers, line supervisors, chief mechanics, and purchasing. Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives. Maintain and use SalesForce.com as a CRM and planning tool, communicating successes and failures in a timely fashion to improve processes and opportunities. The Person Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education. 3+ years of experience in sales or marketing for construction supplies with a proven track record delivering results and experience selling to high‑level executives, C‑Suite, and jobsite directors. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results. Valid driver’s license and physical ability to travel up to 50% within the territory assignment. Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. Bilingual is a plus. This range reflects base salary plus target variable cash compensation and may vary by location, experience, and other factors. Eligible for sales incentive plan or commission.
