About the Opportunity

A well-established distributor serving industrial and electronic hardware markets is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales & Sales Support Representative to join its growing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting customer accounts through quote generation, order processing, account management, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Prepare and manage customer quotes, including pricing, lead times, and product sourcing.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and product information.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Maintain customer records and activities within CRM and ERP systems.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive service and effective communication.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Support account growth by delivering a high level of service and account management.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• 
  
  
  3+ years of inside sales, sales support, customer service, account management, or order-entry experience.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Experience processing quotes, orders, and customer requests.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and overall computer proficiency.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
  
  
  
  

Preferred

• 
  
  
  Experience working within a CRM system.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  ERP experience, preferably within a distribution environment.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Experience with Prophet 21, Epicor, or similar distribution software.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Background in industrial distribution, fasteners, hardware, components, or related industries.

  Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
