Plumbing Engineer

Plumbing EngineerBR+A Consulting Engineers is seeking a Plumbing Engineer in our Coral Gables or Tampa, FL office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience and the following skills:Familiarity with specification writing;Performing field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects;Coordinating with other disciplines;Developing calculations for Plumbing system sizing;Thorough knowledge of local Plumbing Codes;Understanding work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the plan;Ability to meet with clients and work with contractors;Oversee deliverables to and from clients;Take ownership of assignments and work both independently and as part of the project team.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringProficient in Auto CAD and RevitStrongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiativeExcellent communication skillsProactive and collaborative team memberPrevious experience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education and Laboratory projects is a plusPE License strongly preferredBR+A is a place to learn, to grow, to work hard for clients that matter – and to be part of something bigger.
