Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity supporting students across a K-12 setting. The majority of the caseload will consist of Pre-K through elementary-aged students , making this an excellent opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working with younger learners and helping students develop foundational communication skills.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct evaluations, provide direct therapy services, collaborate with educational teams, and support students in achieving their communication and academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as appropriate.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• Current health certificate, if required.

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Compliance with all professional standards of practice.
