Job Title Manufacturing Production Associate Summary The Manufacturing Production Associate is vital to our success. The role is responsible for carrying out the required standard activities of their assigned tasks, in full compliance with the work instruction and/or standard operating procedure, and without compromise to anyone’s safety. The Manufacturing Production Associate will be taught how to undertake tasks safely, and to a high‑quality level, through a job instruction process, and will attain and maintain the relevant certification necessary to progress through our tiers program, as measured by the job skills competence matrix. Responsibilities Contribute to the team in creating a “Great Place to Work” by role‑modeling safety‑first, a Kaizen mindset, and supporting colleagues. Hold yourself and team members accountable to embody the United Safety passion values. Undertake all tasks in compliance with the standard work and training, and make any problems—safety, quality, or otherwise—immediately known to Team Leader. Exemplify safety‑first mindset and follow all United Safety health, safety, and environmental policies and standards. Understand your team’s people, safety, quality, delivery, cash and cost key performance indicators and your contribution to their attainment. Become certified at the Lean Awareness level and implement at least one Kaizen per month. Support the Team Leader in problem solving, contributing ideas based on experience. Be an active member of the team, promoting collective engagement. Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements and company policies. Requirements Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent. Achieve a Gallup assessment score for the role of the potential or high potential level. Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Are physically able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Can occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 12 hours per day. Are willing to learn to drive a forklift and become certified. Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Are committed to the rigorous adherence to standardized work. Have a track record of Kaizen implementation. Have experience working within a Lean operating model / production system. Can perform in a fast‑paced environment, responding to change favorably and quickly. Safety is at the forefront of your mind, following all policies to promote a safe working environment. Bring a positive attitude and ability to work cohesively in a team environment. Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards. Willing to work overtime as needed and some Saturdays to support growth.
