MUST:

• 2+ years of experience as a surgical scheduler in a busy medical office
• Surgical Scheduling experience
• A great attitude and reliability
• EMR experience is a must
• EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook
• Sound judgment, good communication and business acumen skills
• Ability to multi-task

DUTIES:

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of office
• Enhancing patients/customers experience by providing clerical/technical support
• Greeting patients at front desk reception area, ensuring that the patient has signed in and has all necessary and up to date insurance information
• Properly handling incoming calls; take complete messages with accurate information using message intake form
• Scheduling patient appointments by adhering to scheduling guidelines
• Verifying appointments, print schedules, update patient information as necessary
• Review schedules for cancellations/No show appointments
