Environmental Project Engineer

Job Description
Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer to join their Kansas City, Missouri team!

Responsibilities:

• Prepareplanning/ design documents in appropriate engineering discipline
• Coordinatework of assistant, associate professional staff and technical staff
• Performprocess design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and use economicanalyses for comparison of alternatives
• Developproject scope of work; develop project schedule; prepare projectinitiation paperwork; manage budget reviews and schedule progress reports
• Coordinateprojects with other teams; perform/coordinate design aspects of projects;direct team members on design tasks; maintain project records(correspondence, drawings, and files); coordinate with clients; attendclient meetings
• Managethe preparation of technical reports, memos, and summaries to effectivelycommunicate findings to clients/internal teams
• Serveas project manager
• Ensureproject deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet clientexpectations
• Assist with marketing / business development and prepare project proposals

Requirements:

• Bachelor'sor master's degree in environmental or civil engineering from anABET-accredited institution
• 6+ years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience, specifically with civil or environmental design (solid waste facilities, environmental remediation, mining reclamation)
• PELicense
• Proficientwith engineering tools, software, and methodologies
• Strongworking knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD

Salary is commensurate with experience.
