The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, teamwork, and reliability while working in a dynamic industrial environment What You Need Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum of one (1) year of work experience required. Experience in an industrial, marine terminal, manufacturing, construction, or material-handling environment preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, forklifts, or similar industrial equipment preferred. Demonstrated history of safe work practices, reliability, and quality performance required. Certifications and Licenses Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) as required by U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulations. Valid driver's license preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills, to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to identify operational issues and report them promptly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and technologies. Physical Requirements While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee must be able to: Frequently stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach. Operate equipment controls and hand tools. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Work at elevated heights and access equipment using ladders and stairs. Meet OSHA medical requirements for respirator use. Possess adequate vision, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions Day and night shifts may be required. Overtime, weekend, holiday, and emergency response work may be required based on operational needs. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and humidity. Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, moving mechanical equipment, and bulk material-handling operations is expected. Work in industrial and marine terminal environments, including elevated work areas, is required. Pay Range USD $27.45 - USD $28.55 /Hr.
