Senior Principal Antenna Design Engineer

Position Overview Electrical Engineer – Airborne Antenna Design at Raytheon, McKinney, Texas. Onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy RF passive circuits (radiators, RF manifolds, transitions, etc.) and perform electromagnetic modeling. Advance radiator and EM design through continual innovation and state‑of‑the‑art techniques. Apply best‑practice standards for planning, coordination, and execution of RF passive circuit design and EM modeling. Collaborate on full‑scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products and associated system verification. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in STEM and minimum 10 years of relevant experience in RF passive circuit design and EM modeling. Knowledge of antenna engineering principles, including phased array theory. Experience with structured design processes, root‑cause problem solving, and on‑time task execution. Familiarity with test equipment: antenna ranges, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, and related tools. Preferred Qualifications Master of Science or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. Strong experience presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers. Proficiency with AnsysHFSS, KeysightADS, MATLAB, and CAD tools. Benefits & Relocation Relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
