Job Type Full-time Location This position is located at the Home Office in Bozeman, MT. Must live within a 40-mile radius of the corporate office. As a Murdoch's Team Member, you will Reconcile daily store sales activity accurately and promptly Reconcile daily and monthly cash activity Support the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements Contribute to the year-end inventory process Review and audit accounts receivable activity Participate in the company-wide budgeting process Prepare accurate, well-organized workpapers for the annual company audit Analyze balance sheet and profit-and-loss accounts to identify trends and variances Take on additional accounting responsibilities and other duties as assigned Requirements As a Murdochian, you must Bring a positive attitude, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment Demonstrate strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Excel Microsoft Power Automate experience is preferred but not required Apply sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills Hold a four-year degree in accounting or finance; previous accounting experience is preferred Build positive, professional relationships with employees and customers at every level of the company Work independently as a motivated, proactive self-starter Consistently contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment Brings a positive, solutions-focused attitude to daily work Demonstrates actions and an attitude aligned with the company's Mission, Values, and Principles Develops mastery of Microsoft Dynamics functions related to the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Point of Sale, and Inventory Delivers expert customer service by responding accurately and professionally to internal partners—including bookkeepers, managers, receivers, purchasing, and advertising—and external partners such as vendors, accounts receivable customers, and banking contacts Physical Demands Sitting for extended periods of time.
