Medical Receptionist

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Medical Receptionist for a healthcare client in the Tampa Bay area. This person will be responsible for clerical duties, such as: patient registration, customer service, insurance verification, financial counseling, scheduling, bed control, and reception. This person must be proficient in at least 5 of these areas including registration. Skills and Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience with patient registration Experience or working knowledge around insurance verification, financial counseling, scheduling, and bed control. Strong understanding of medical terminology Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting Ability to work in a team environment and help team members and patients without having to be asked. Experience with scanning documents, compiling patient information and ability to maintain organization. HS Diploma or GED (customer runs an education verification)
