Junior Associate, Global Marketing - Marc Jacobs Fragrances

JUNIOR ASSOCIATE GLOBAL MARKETING, MARC JACOBS – NY, NY COTY is looking for smart leaders who are tenacious, passionate, and fearlessly kind. In an effort to reinforce the business and the desirability of the MarcJacobs Fragrance brand, we seek a “Junior Associate” to aid in global tactical business development. Along with the Sr. Brand Manager, the Junior Associate will be responsible for all areas of Global Product Marketing and for delivering innovative, on‑brand products that support brand growth. The role involves managing all touch points during product development, including concept ideation, bottle and packaging, fragrance, merchandising, digital/social, promotion, and go‑to‑market activations. THE ROLE Execute plans in a timely manner through the entire lifecycle of development, including concept ideation, bottle and packaging, fragrance, merchandising, digital/social, and promotional tools. Interface with internal multifunctional teams (Creative, Packaging, Purchasing, Finance) and external vendors (Ad Agency, Public Relations Agency, Promotional Houses). Manage all processes to initiate new projects and develop support elements, including readiness meetings, product offerings, cost of goods, briefs to cross‑functional partners, purchase orders, etc. Conduct category and competitive assessments and identify market trends and consumer insights to influence strategic business recommendations. Provide affiliates with timely, appropriate information regarding all projects. Help prepare meetings with senior leadership and fragrance houses, leading deck creation and room set‑up. QUALIFICATIONS Essential: 4‑year undergraduate degree; previous marketing experience required; strong PowerPoint skills; ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment; maturity, responsibility, accountability, and organizational excellence. Desirable: Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and intuition; experience in the beauty industry is a plus; healthy skepticism toward typical fragrance brand narratives.
