Nanny needed for a family living in Dallas, TX.

We are looking for a warm, attentive, and engaging nanny to care for our almost 2-year-old daughter this summer. She is easygoing, curious, and enjoys a mix of indoor and outdoor play. The primary responsibility is to actively engage with her throughout the day—reading, playing, and encouraging developmentally appropriate activities. We are a screen-free household for our daughter, so we’re looking for someone who is fully present and not on their phone while caring for her. She takes a daily nap (typically 1.5–2.5 hours), and during that time you’ll have a chance to reset and help with a few light tasks related to her. Initially, care will take place in our home. As we build trust, we may be open to you taking her to local activities (e.g., park, library, etc.). ⸻ Additional Responsibilities * Prepare and serve lunch/snacks for our daughter (food will be provided) * Clean up after meals and activities * Keep play areas and her room tidy at the end of the day * Engage in age-appropriate, interactive play (indoor + outdoor) * Follow her daily routine, including nap schedule * Communicate updates from the day (meals, nap, activities, etc.) ⸻ What We’re Looking For * Someone who is genuinely engaged, hands-on, and present * Comfortable with a no-screen environment * Reliable, communicative, and attentive * Enjoys spending time with toddlers and fostering development through play
