Corporate Counsel

Seeking a full-time remote SVP Corporate Legal, this role will manage legal operations, compliance, and vendor relationships while building scalable systems and workflows to enhance departmental efficiency. Key responsibilities Oversee corporate legal billing, manage outside counsel spend, and implement systems for legal spend optimization Support compliance frameworks and monitor adherence to federal and state regulations while maintaining relevant policies and training documentation Manage relationships with outside counsel and legal vendors, ensuring efficient engagement and performance standards Required qualifications JD from an accredited law school with an active bar membership preferred 8-15+ years of legal experience, focusing on legal operations and corporate legal management Demonstrated experience in compliance, commercial litigation, and vendor management Background in private lending, financial services, or fintech strongly preferred Strong project management skills with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. legal and regulatory frameworks
