Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 37.5 Hours/Week
Pay Rate:
Local: $74 - $78/hr (Based on Experience)
Travel: $90 - $95/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN – Nurse Educator for an exciting Contract opportunity in Bronx, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver educational programs for nursing staff.

• Plan and facilitate orientation programs for newly hired nurses.

• Assess learning needs and create educational plans to improve clinical competencies.

• Provide bedside coaching, mentoring, and clinical support to nursing staff.

• Promote evidence-based nursing practices and quality improvement initiatives.

• Evaluate staff competencies and maintain required education and training records.

• Collaborate with nurse managers and interdisciplinary teams to identify educational priorities.

• Assist with policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness.

• Participate in quality assurance, patient safety, and performance improvement activities.

• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program required.

• Active New York State Registered Nurse License required.

• Primary Source Verification of RN License through NYSED required.

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.

• Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to educate, mentor, and develop nursing staff.

• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office preferred.
