Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Type: Full Time Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support expense management and financial planning processes across the organization. This role focuses on delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and strategic financial guidance to help optimize resource utilization and strengthen overall financial performance. Key Responsibilities Support expense management processes by monitoring spend, analyzing trends, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities. Partner with business units to understand operational drivers and provide financial insights on cost structures. Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly expense reporting. Develop forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support strategic decision-making. Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions. Challenge assumptions in financial projections and provide data‑driven recommendations. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable standards (GAAP/statutory). Maintain and support financial systems and tools used for reporting and planning. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial planning, process improvements, and special projects. Present insights and recommendations to management to support informed decision‑making. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or financial management. Strong analytical, budgeting, and financial modeling skills. Ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment. High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CMA certification. Experience with financial systems such as PeopleSoft, TM1, Apptio, or similar tools.
