Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Lake Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Would be beneficial to have Tele experience, but not a requirement; basic tele a plus.

Unit Details: Includes some MS/tele patients; mainly pacemakers, monitoring, and potassium levels, not acute cardiac cases. Uses McKesson medication system.

Shift & Scheduling: Some weekends.

Floating Requirements: First to float to Med Surg units within traveler’s scope of practice.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
