About the Role:
Join SWEET DREAMS & FAIRY TALES as a Childcare Director, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping a nurturing and engaging environment for children. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care and education in a whimsical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that fosters creativity and learning.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to build strong relationships.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and compliance with state regulations and licensing.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and development.
- Organize and participate in community outreach programs and events.
- Ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children and families.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare or educational settings.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with children and adults.
- Passion for fostering a positive and nurturing environment for children.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
