Project Engineer - Civil or Environmental

Project EngineerSCS Engineers is looking for a Project Engineer in Bedford, Texas (located in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex) to work on various civil, environmental, and solid waste-related projects. You should be a quick learner, motivated, team-player, and have the desire to grow professionally. Projects focus on land development, environmental compliance, and solid waste management, including landfills, landfill gas collection systems, transfer stations, composting and recycling facility infrastructure, and other similar type projects, which require AutoCAD skills, design, engineering, permitting, and construction inspections. This position will be based in the office 5 days/week.How You Can Make An ImpactApply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles and practicesComplete designs using 2D and Civil 3D AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, etcPrepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applicationsMakes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plans and coordinates work, and represents us at meetings and conferences.Construction-phase engineering services, including engineer certification and field inspection, performed in various types of terrain and weather, will be requiredBusiness development including: proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry-related conferences/trade showsReceive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory/senior review on proposed plans, reports and or other project deliverablesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering major requiredMinimum of 4 years of civil engineering and/or solid waste design experience required.E.I.T. required, P.E. preferredExperience with using AutoCAD Civil 3D design softwareValid driver's license with a driving record in good standing requiredPay RangeUSD $80,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.Additional InformationPlease note that our pay ranges are determined by several factors, including relevant experience, internal pay equity, and location.
