Senior Shift Lead

DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Shift Leader will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading the team to achieve operational excellence. This role is pivotal in maintaining a positive work atmosphere while meeting the needs of our guests.

Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Preparations, Training new employees , knowledge of Menu and Recipe.
• Assist in training new employees, including conducting interviews and onboarding processes.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including balancing cash registers and processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation by overseeing kitchen operations and culinary staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and overall performance.
• Inventory Management
• Line Check and Internal Audit
• Ensuring there is Prep in walk in cooler, Alto Shaam, Reach in cooler.
• Ensuring the team has completed the task as per the checklist and area.
• Communicating with the General Manager in regards to ordering.
• Willing to work in any area of Restaurant like Hot, Cold, Swing, Prep, Dishes, Lobby etc
• Ensuring the restaurant is cleaned properly and checked before the shift end so the cleanliness is maintained in all areas of restaurant.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or quick service fast food environment is highly needed.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
• Experience in an assistant manager or supervisory role is a plus.
• Knowledge of culinary practices and kitchen operations is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interaction.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges as they arise on the floor.
• Flexible to work in case of Urgent Catering Orders and flexible to start early or finish late if needed.
• Ensuring the staff is following their schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 34 per week
