Supervising Pharmacist

Job Description

The Supervising Pharmacist leads a small pharmacy team while ensuring safe and efficient medication management. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, inventory control, and limited patient counseling, primarily using a Pharmacy Management System to support day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with strong leadership skills and experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee medication dispensing and storage to ensure accuracy and safety
Supervise and guide a small team of 1-5 pharmacy staff
Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations
Manage pharmacy inventory and ordering processes
Provide limited patient counseling as needed
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use
Utilize Pharmacy Management System for daily operations and record keeping

Required Qualifications

PharmD degree
Registered Pharmacist License

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
